Each Illinois Professional Science Master’s student is required to have an internship during the program. Experiences range from lab work on campus, multiple duties with start-ups, and projects or positions with companies, non-profits, and government. Students are encouraged to have robust internship experiences combining their science and business knowledge. Each experience is unique and is intended to give the student a working knowledge of the industry, gain new networking relationships, and prepare the student for a professional career. Students share their experiences during the IL PSM Poster Showcase.
